When the world first seen Christian he was a contestant on project runway but us in the fashion industry stylists designers etc we knew of him and his fashion greatness , other designers were warned when he was on project runway that regardless of if he brought home the win or not , he was definitely coming! his work speaks for itself along with his focus and dedication. Siriano has a personality that lights up a room, a photo a tweet pretty much anything featuring him or his work.
Christian Siriano was a legend in this fashion game before he even knew it. We heard of him as a threat , he was great before the world even knew his name. Being so young and so talented in design, catches the eyes of some of the greats that came before him as well as others in his field wether it be stylist designers models etc we all knew that he would go far , and he did , designing for women like Michelle Obama , Victoria Beckham, Lady Gaga , Rihanna , Sarah Jessica Parker , Nicki Minaj , Christina Ricci , Taylor Swift just to name a few , the list goes on with women just as beautiful and star studded as the above women and he has not stopped since he was first introduced to the world as first a contestant then as the winner of project runway season 4. So to those who have said and I quote “project runway has yet to produce a star” well they are certainly sleeping on the fabulous and talented Christian Siriano his designs have become iconic already , watching his success you can’t help but see so many more great things coming from him.
A few few things that I would like to point out for anyone up and coming needing inspirational a glimpse of hope from a job you didn’t quiet dream of but is a necessary stepping stone to get to where you want to be , Christian started out as a make up artist and started making custom dresses for clients at the same time working as a non paid intern for Marc Jacobs. So you have to start somewhere and that’s just a reminder.
